Kidvelo are quite a new brand – they launched in 2021. But don’t be deceived by the age of the company – they come with several decades of experience!
The company is made up of four of the team who used to distribute Strider balance bikes in the UK and Australia, so they know a thing or two about balance bikes.
They’ve designed the Kidvelo Rookie 12 balance bike from the ground up with all the attention to detail you’d expect from people who have lived and breathed balance bikes for most of their careers.
This shows in the little features, such as sealed bearings on the wheels and a proper headset – bits you don’t see but really make a difference to the quality of the product.
Our (adult) reviewer also really liked the frame design, although this probably doesn’t register with the rider!
You can read our review of the Kidvelo Rookie 12 for full details of this bike.
