Kids bikes
If Santa is being really generous and bringing a bike this year, then help him choose one that’s going to be fun and safe to ride.
The Kidvelo Rookie bikes are great for children who haven’t yet learnt to pedal.
They have a 12" balance bike for toddlers, and two larger bikes with 14" and 18" wheels.
They easily convert from balance bikes to pedal bikes (and back again), and are designed to make the learning process very easy.
As well as being great for older and taller kids who have yet to master pedalling, they're also great bikes for neurodiverse or autistic children.

woom make some of the best quality, lightweight kids bikes. Well worth the money, if you can afford it. They have a huge range of different size and types of bikes from 12" wheel balance bikes through to mountain and city bikes and even an e-mountain bike!
Here at Cycle Sprog we've reviewed loads of different woom bikes and have never been disappointed.

The B’Twin range at Decathlon are a great choice if you’re looking for a budget bike. They’re “proper” bikes, rather than “toy” bikes which we always warn parents to stay away from.
Each bike comes in several versions - the 100 is their entry level bike, and they go through to 900’s which are lighter weight and have better components, so there’s something for all budgets and ages.
Frog Bikes are another great kids bike brand with a huge range of models suitable from toddlers to teens, including mountain, city and road/cyclocross bikes.
We've reviewed a lot of Frog Bikes over the years, and can confirm they're well built and fun to ride.
